Counting the days to the start of “The White Rabbit Lair” youth exchange…

These are the last preparation days before the real take off of the International Exchange “The White Rabbit Lair”…

The association “Paradiso Ritrovato”, promoter of the project, is already in Gaiole in Chianti in the beautiful Podere Reggioli preparing all what is needed in order for our international partners to find a fertile and welcoming ground where to plant new seeds of inspiration, ideas, action, cooperation and fun!

Podere Reggioli, the venue of our International Exchange “The White  Rabbit Lair”

This year we will be sharing the space created by Cristian, Lucille and  their four children in the beautiful countryside of Toscana’s Chianti. Thanks to them we will have a big stone house and many hectares of land to explore and create our activities!

The team of “The White Rabbit Lair” is this year composed by a multifaceted international component, the associations taking part come from Hungary, Bulgaria, Spain, Romania and Italy.

Here’s a short presentation of how each group describes itself:

HUNGARY:

“ÚTON” Ifjúsági – Kulturális Egyesület, Debrecen – ”ON THE WAY” Youth & Cultural Association, Debrecen.

We founded On The Way Association in 2004. Our goals are to help intercultural learning processes, tolerance programs and to promote ‘culture of peace’. Since the beginning of 2009 we have two youthcamps. One of them is near the famous stalactite cavern, Aggtelek, the other one is on the shore of lake Balaton. We also have a second office in a less-developed city (Balkány) where we provide different kinds of free services for the youth living nearby (job-seeking training, English courses, etc). We would like to be part of sharing experiences and best practices between neighbouring nations and other European countries.

We are working mainly with schools from our region.

We are looking forward to this new adventure and we thank deeply all the ones that made it possible!
