‘Weaving the Wild’ – An international Transitional Permacultural Round Table

Paradiso Ritrovato is organizing Weaving the Wild – An International Transitional Permacultural Round Table.

Here’s the description of the project…

already many interesting organisations from all over Europe are willing to take part!

Is your organization interested in implementing environmentally sustainable systems through permaculture, transition practices and “act and think globally and locally” philosophy?

The meeting of people around Europe under the umbrella of Youth in Action programmes has a huge potential towards increasing environmental awareness and sustainable development. This is the reason why the partnership building activity “Weaving the Wild” aims at getting to know associations which work especially in this field in order to cooperate for the creation of YiA projects.

The main focus will be on the development of youth exchanges that reflect and take action on the themes of environmental discovery and awareness, sustainable development, permacultural design and principles, transition practices, gardening, preservation of biodiversity and creation of transnational seed banks.

Trough the PBA “Weaving the Wild” all participants will be supported and encouraged to create enduring connections with likeminded associations, develop and implement ideas for new projects. Hopefully it will become a great possibility to experiment sustainable and permacultural dimensions in all projects!

The project also aims at concretely moving the first steps into the development of a youth exchange (action 1.1). Therefore it is very important that participants come with a luggage full of ideas, insights, wishes, practical experiences and proposals for action taking.
